Brenda Hartill is one of the most prominent collagraph artists working today. She runs her own studios in London and Spain and has exhibited widely throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. She is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers.

Collagraphs are prints that can be made in a number of ways: from collages; relief sculpture; caste plaster plates; carved, stripped and layered plates; plates painted with glues; or from a combination of all these methods. The flexibility of this process means that it is one of the most fluid approaches to printmaking and allows artists greater creative freedom than many other methods.
